Why does my furnace turn on and off so often?
A dirty filter, a thermostat problem or an overheating furnace are common causes. Change the filter first; if it continues, get it checked.
Do heat pumps work in Kelowna winters?
Many do. Cold-climate heat pumps are designed to keep heating well below freezing, and many systems keep a furnace or electric backup for the coldest days. Ask a technician about models rated for your climate.
Can a mini-split heat a whole house?
Sometimes, depending on the layout and size. Several indoor units, or a ducted heat pump, may be better for larger homes.
Should I get AC or a heat pump?
A heat pump does both heating and cooling. If you are replacing a furnace or adding cooling anyway, ask a technician to compare them.
How often should my furnace be serviced?
Most manufacturers recommend once a year. Check your warranty — some require it.
